The EyePole utilizes two types of miniature CCD cameras. The surveillance camera offers the ability to secure and inspect larger areas and further distances. This camera system switches automatically from color in daylight, to infrared black & white for night vision, with an effective viewing distance of 30-40' with the help of twelve or 24 IR L.E.D.'s., depending on the configuration*.
The inspection camera for close-up work, is a color camera that works in daylight as well as total blackness with amazing up-close detail, made possible by four white L.E.D.'s built in to the camera.
Both versions of the EyePole come complete with illuminated waterproof power and L.E.D. switches, (1) RCA Video-out, (1) Audio-out (Optional), (1) Charging/ backup battery input port, and (1) Brightness control
The Video-out port allows you to capture images to your video camera, or connect to a head-wearable display.
An LCD screen is housed in a weatherproof enclosure and mounted at the handle end of the pole. It has a viewable area of 5" diagonal, and articulates via a 180-degree tilt/ swivel for the optimum viewing angle. An optional custom sun shield is available for bright sun conditions.
