To avoid the dangers of electrical conductivity, only non-conductive materials are used in the production of the Inspection Version of the EyePole. The camera housing on the Surveillance Version of the EyePole is made of aluminum. The extension pole itself is a 2-piece fiberglass telescoping pole, extendable to 7', as well as custom fixed lengths. The EyePole is available in flat black or yellow.
Concealed in the handle of the pole is a custom battery provided by Interstate Battery. The switch plate at the end of the pole is powder- coated aluminum. A two-foot foam handle cover is installed for comfort.
